The Community Access Program provides support to individuals in their chosen goals of community involvement and personal development. The program provides a number of options for individuals to participate in their community to whatever degree they choose. Through the Family and Person Centered Planning Process individuals provide the direction for support staff to assist them in meeting their desired outcomes.

Individuals seeking employment or skill development for employment may participate in the PROVE curriculum. (Provoding Resources and Opportunity for Valuable Employment). The curriculum assists individuals with the identification of job interests based on assessment, development of a personal portfolio and resume and the support to seek and maintain employment

As identified individuals have choices as to how they wish to use their leisure time. By utilizing community resources opportunities arise from socializing, establishing support networks and friendship building. Through volunteering individuals are able to contribute to their community's needs, demonstrate their skills and further explore personal interests and possible career paths.
